I thought it was about time to update you all on my body transformation journey! It's been a little under six months since I began this transformation, and a lot has happened since last November. I've started and stopped a few different diet and exercise programs, but I've finally zeroed in on what works for me - the Ketogenic Diet. Even though I didn't seriously start this eating regimen until January/February - it's helped me kick the excess lbs and keep them off with little to no exercise.
The Ketogenic Diet is a high-fat, moderate-protein, low-carb diet that really changes the way your body's metabolism functions to help you burn fat and regulate your energy. It's more of a lifestyle than just a "diet", and it's helped me realize what a drastic difference maker a high-fat diet can be. Since starting the Keto Diet and this body transformation journey, I have lost a whopping 20 pounds! Yep, that's right - 20 lbs gone! And while I'm not quite to my goal weight, I'm fitting into my clothes again, loving the way I look, and am energized by the progress I've made.
To help me lose the last little bit of weight, I've decided to sign up for a 60-day Ketogenic Diet challenge through KetoDiet App. You can check it out here. What I love about this, is that it isn't some crazy strict challenge group, but instead a supportive community trying to help others get results (whatever those may be) with the Keto lifestyle. My goal over the next 60 days is to really tune-in with the diet (which means no more cheat meals!), up my exercise regimen, and engage within the community to ask questions, provide support, and stay motivated. By doing this, I know I'll be able to kick the last few lbs and get to my goal weight just in time for Las Vegas!

Check out these comparison shots! I don't know about you, but I was shocked. When you look at yourself everyday in the mirror, it's easy to not really notice the small weight losses happening, and your body transforming before your eyes. Sure, clothes have been starting to fit better and differently, but I couldn't see measurable differences, until I put these photos next to each other. I see it in my arms, torso, face, legs - just about everywhere!
I've worked hard to stay dedicated to this goal, and although I'm not quite where I want to be yet, I've taken steps to make this permanent diet improvement, and it's working! You can guarantee that at the conclusion of this KetoDiet challenge I'll have another update to share! Keep your goals top of mind - you'll be so proud to see the progress you make if you keep them front and center.
