Winter has been pretty finicky here in Michigan.  We had a white Christmas, then a temperature spike into the 50's and now we rotate between rain, snow and temperatures that make it hard to decide what to wear.  What better than a fun bomber jacket to solve that issue?  As long as you aren't going to be outside for extended amounts of time, a bomber is a chic and stylish top layer to keep you shielded from the wintery weather.  No more boring grey/black pea coats or puffy down jackets - it's time to rock some fun outerwear!

I've been stocking up on some fun bomber jackets this season, but this rose-gold metallic quilted number from TopShop has to be one of my all-time favorites.  I think this one might be sold out online (I've still seen it in some Nordstrom stores!), but they've got a darker rosy colored bomber with the same finish that's just as stunning!  I kept the rest of my ensemble pretty neutral in the taupes and greys to compliment the barely-there rose gold of the bomber, and then added some fun pops of color and bling in the purse, shoes and jewelry.  Even when you take the jacket off, the unexpected lace-up detail of the neutral-toned sweater is a feminine touch when indoors.

For the accessories, I wanted to keep this whole outfit in the pink family, so I grabbed the brightest pair of fuchsia pumps I own, a gorgeous back-drop blush BaubleBar necklace, and my favorite clutch.  The bag's holographic snakeskin print with a matching fuchsia agate stone detail is a perfect tie-in to the pumps.  These pieces really add that 'it-factor' to the look with some bold accessories, and dresses it up too for a night out with the girls or a date with your man.  Swap out the accessories for a tote and some boots or taupe tennis shoes and you're ready for a day of errands in style!

Stay warm out there!  I'm doing my best over here to get through these bitter cold months, and I'm excited to get in the groove with some weekly outfit posts.  If there's a new trend out there you're dying to see styled, let me know!  Comment below and I'll add it to my list of ideas!
